III.1. Service Providers

We may share information with trusted vendors and service providers who help operate the Service.

We share information with a small number of service providers who help operate the Service: Cloudflare (application hosting, database, and image storage), Expo (push notification delivery and app update distribution), and hCaptcha (spam protection on our website forms). These providers may access information only as necessary to perform services on our behalf, and we require that they provide the same or equal protection of your data as described in this Privacy Policy. We do not use third-party advertising or analytics providers, and we do not share your personal information with third-party AI services. These providers are permitted to use information only as necessary to provide services on our behalf.

III.2. Household

If you join or create a shared household, your pets' profiles and diary entries (meals, symptoms, medications, weight, wellbeing, and photos) are visible to the other members and sitters of that household. This sharing is controlled by you and the household owner through the app's household settings.

III.3. Legal Compliance

We may disclose information when required by law or when we reasonably believe disclosure is necessary to:

Comply with legal obligations
Respond to lawful requests
Protect the rights and safety of users
Prevent fraud or abuse
Enforce our agreements

III.4. Business Transfers

V. Data Retention

We retain your information for as long as your account is active and as reasonably necessary to provide the Service, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements.

You can delete your account at any time in the app (Profile > Delete account), visiting https://littlepetapp.com/delete-account/, or by emailing [email protected]. When you delete your account, your account is immediately deactivated and we then permanently delete your account record, your personal organization, your pets' profiles, your diary entries, and the photos you uploaded from/to our systems. This purge normally completes within 24 hours; in rare cases it may take up to 7 days, and we will keep you informed if a deletion request requires additional time.

What is not deleted: if you shared pets with a household, the pets and diary entries contributed to that shared household remain with the household after your account is deleted (your name is detached from them). Community catalog items you created (such as custom food products or medications other users may reference) also remain, with your account de-linked. We may retain limited records where required for security, fraud prevention, or legal compliance.

Users may continue to receive essential service-related communications, including security notices, account notifications, and updates regarding the Service.

VII. Artificial Intelligence Features

Certain features of the Service analyze the information you log. For example, correlating foods and ingredients with symptom patterns, to surface insights about your pet. These analyses run within our Service, are informational only, and do not constitute veterinary advice. We do not share your personal information with third-party AI services.

These features are intended solely for informational and organizational purposes. LittlePetApp does not provide veterinary medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Users should consult a licensed veterinarian regarding any health concerns involving their pets.

VIII. Third-Party Websites and Services

The Service may contain links to third-party websites, applications, or services. We are not responsible for the privacy practices, content, or policies of third-party services. Users should review the privacy policies of those third parties before providing information.

IX. Changes to This Privacy Policy
